Senior Power Bi Developer @ CGI

Job Description

• Strong experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Hands-on expertise in Power Query (M Language) for data extraction, transformation, and cleansing.
• Proficiency in DAX for creating measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence calculations.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Fact & Dimension tables).
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling and dashboard design best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.
• Create and optimize DAX measures, KPIs, and business calculations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Design and maintain data models to support reporting needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and timely data refreshes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and analytics solutions.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing and validating queries
• Exposure to in-sprint automation
