Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
Validate desktop-based applications across different environments (Windows/Mac if applicable).
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
Conduct UAT support and ensure readiness for production releases.
Required Skills
Strong experience in functional/manual testing
Hands-on experience in testing desktop applications (Windows-based preferred)
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
