The Employer
Our client is a leading global electronic appliances manufacturer with strong presence in South East Asia.
The Job
You will be responsible for :
Managing the end to end supply chain process including vendor management, procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
Monitoring and forecasting demand and supply accurately, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Developing and implementing effective order processing and management systems.
Identifying and analysing risks affecting supply, delivery and customer demand and developing strategies to mitigate these.
Participating in strategic supply chain enhancements/ projects to drive optimal manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
Conducting order reviews, processing orders and verifying data, obtaining customer confirmations and following up on deliveries.
Handling customer order related queries & support, liaising with key internal stakeholders for quality/warehouse issues, processing return shipment as well as repair and replacement administration.
Supporting clients from various industries in the development and implementation of state-of-the art procurement/supply chain strategies.
Working in project teams with both colleagues and client staff from a wide variety of business areas to develop innovative procurement and supply chain solutions.
Analysing procurement & supply chain processes together with your counterparts and developing optimised concepts for presentation to the client.
Monitoring the market for new best practice tools and techniques, expanding your own knowledge and skills and thereby enabling clients to achieve competitive success.
The Profile
You have at least 6 years experience within Order Fullfillment / Supply Chain, ideally within Electronics.
You can deliver on cost efficiency and effectiveness along with the ability to balance priorities
You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering Southeast Asia.
You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams
You have worked with SAP/ERP systems
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
