Ltd. is a 360 Human Resource Management Consulting and Staffing Services Organization.VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Senior Systems Engineer - VMware, Cloud & Automation for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following terms and conditions.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelors degree
5+ years professional experience in Windows Server
5+ years professional experience in scripting development
3+ years professional experience in WMWare
1+ years professional experience in Automation: Puppet, Chef or Ansible (desired)
1+ year's professional experience with AWS or Azure (desired)
Responsibilities:
Administer Windows Systems on-prem and Cloud (private and public)
Develop/maintain automation of Windows based systems
Develop procedures and training for Operations staff
Performs other duties as requested
Develop tools/scripts in PowerShell/python
Full-time work with participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation
Develop automation processes for systems management and monitoring.
Desirable:
Formal qualifications in information, communications, or technology from a recognized tertiary institution or extensive demonstrated equivalent skills and experience
Intimate knowledge of VMware and the VMWare automation suite
Extensive experience with rollouts, deployments and scripting (PowerShell, Bash and Python)
Extensive knowledge of cloud implemented solutions
Demonstrated knowledge of Operating Systems (OS) architecture
Extensive knowledge of cloud implemented solutions
Extensive experience with Linux system administration and the development and deployment of Standard Operating Environments (SOE)
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and associated applications and platforms
Experience with containerized solutions
Demonstrated knowledge of IT security principles and experience designing secure systems in line with Information Security Manual (ISM) guidelines
Job Description
The Senior System Administrator will be a senior member of a team responsible for the design, build, test and deployment and integration of technical solutions for official online activities.
The candidate will contribute to and oversee implemented Linux and Windows desktop and laptop solutions, including contributing and overseeing server deployments, software updates and maintaining solutions through group policies and automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash and Python.
This role requires high level skills and experience in the following:
VMWare
Deployment and Scripting
Cloud Implementation
AWS
Azure
Linux and Citrix
