We are CAD Design Services Company located in Andheri-Sakinaka, Mumbai.
We urgently require Sr. Design Engineer - HVAC for below position.
Primary Skills & Estimation:
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of HVAC ducting and accessories for various projects.
- Perform layout and sizing of ducting work, ventilation and mechanical equipment as required to provide a complete system for estimating purposes.
- Before a project starts, estimation engineers analyse all preliminary research data / specifications / Project details / plans to determine the project's & its investments. Estimation engineers typically compile this information and present it to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand format - Project Information Sheet.
- Estimation engineers use the preliminary project data and review of project deliverables to prepare `the cost estimates for the entire project. As they start to gain a clearer sense of the overall project, they put together cost estimations and deliver them to stakeholders. They work on Estimation software as per plans so as to create an overall item list & thus create an estimate of the same.
- Ability to communicate with clients about various aspects of their HVAC project as defined by the projects scope of work;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the HVAC industry.
- Lead a team, bold communicator, client interfacing reporting skills.
Skill Sets:
Expertise Level required - 4 to 6 years in HVAC CAD designing.
- Experience on working on HVAC Residential and Commercial projects; Duct design; CAD drafting; Estimating; Duct Fabrication; SMACNA; - 3 to 5 years.
- Knowledgeable on mechanical, building and energy codes
- Knowledge in : HVAC equipment; HVAC Accessories; Duct Systems etc
Required Software Skill Sets:
- Quotesoft / BlueBeam or similar software : should have worked for at least two years
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
Candidate has to be located in and around Pune only and willing to work from home initially & must have below IT-HW-SW resources:
Below hardware - ready to work from home arrangement is a prerequisite for this job position.
a. Laptop / Desktop machine - : Processor I3, RAM 8 GB, HDD 500 GB
b. Monitor : 27 inch single monitor
c. Broadband connectivity - speed 20 MB (Minimum). Only broadband or Fibre Connection is required. Wi-Fi Dongle / Mobile Hotspot shall not be used not suitable.
d. Antivirus: McAfee or compatible. Must to have the valid antivirus;
e. Windows 10
f. MS Office: Home Edition is suitable.
