Job Description

REQUIREMENTS Seeking Senior System Architects for its Pegasystems business practice. These architects are responsible for both technical oversight and execution of the design, development and implementation of Pega BPM solutions tailored to the specific operational requirements and strategic objectives of each client. Given the nature of Pega projects, ideal candidates will have a diverse and varied skill set, with an ability to add value to the implementation team through both technical and functional capabilities. Specifically, job responsibilities will include some or all of the following: - Execute Pega-based delivery methodology, including Elaboration, Direct Capture of Objectives and Guardrail-governed development; - Support Inception and Elaboration to ensure optimal solution architecture and technical design; - Direct and oversee technical teams in Development of the designed solution, including breaking user stories into technical tasks and assigning them across team members, managing their delivery and schedule, and coordinating associated program activities with Business and QA teams; - Software development of the more complex user stories including: PRPC configuration, external systems interfaces and database integration; - Manage defect resolution cycle including coordination with QA team, distribution of defect resolution tasks and balancing new development responsibilities; - Collaborate with project leadership and client management on program direction, status, and staffing and budget considerations; - Implementation support and knowledge transfer to clients

Required Candidate profile

Qualifications

- Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle including design, configuration and development, testing and implementation;

- 5+ years of experience implementing business process management or similar solutions;

- 2+ years of experience working with Pega systems technologies;

- Demonstrated understanding of Object-Oriented software development principles

- Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to J2EE, .Net, Oracle and MS/SQL;

- Ability to rapidly familiarize with specific Client business requirements and how best to apply technology to accommodate them;

- Personal and team accountability and corresponding escalation and communication skills;

- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative (with colleagues and clients, alike), Agile delivery environment;

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable field;

- Willingness to travel up to 100%
