Job Description
As part of the Program and Project Management team for large-scale analytics efforts, you will be accountable for driving highly visible technology projects to enable world-class Data warehousing and business intelligence services for our organization. In this role, you will define, plan and lead the execution of high-value data integration, warehousing and analytics projects; this may include leading multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating cross-functional team efforts. Responsibilities include : - Lead development and approval of project definition and scoping with stakeholders including clients, delivery teams, finance team and senior management - Support development of cost/benefit assessments and solution recommendations - Prepare and maintain Project Management artifacts including Statement of Work (SOW), project plan, weekly project status report, project staffing forecast, timesheet entry template, log of issues, risks, action items and decisions (IRAD), project change control, and project closure document - Facilitate project meetings such as team status, project planning, issue resolution and artifact review, and ensure conclusive results with published minutes including meeting decisions and follow up action items - Ensure that project objectives, scope, cost, schedule and benefits are agreed to by all stakeholders - Develop and maintain project schedule and resource plans including staffing and hardware / software expense forecast - Track actual resource expenditures and budget variances - Lead project teams to complete projects on time, on budget and with highest level of quality - Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated and mitigated for successful project delivery - Provide succinct communication of project status, issues, risks, decisions and responsibility assignments to project team and management - Ensure project team compliance with program/project management and governance standards
Required Candidate profile
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years overall IT experience
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience managing multiple projects at the same time
- 3 + years experience building repeatable processes
- 5+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
- 5+ years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements
- Experience working with test plans and test cases
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of productivity tools Project, Power Point, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- Healthcare industry experience
- Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence experience
- Exposure to multiple PM technologies
- Process re-engineering and implementation experience
- Professional service or IT-as-a-service experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
