We have an immediate requirement for Analyst / Sr. Analyst Operational Procurement/ Vendor Management/ Supply chain Management / Contract Management for MNC in Trivandrum.
Overall Objectives of Job:
Good understanding of end to end procurement processes.
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Hands-on procurement and supply chain management experience.
Support various sourcing activities such as Vendor screening, Vendor compliance,
Digital tender processing, digital contract management
Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Efficient to handle operational helpdesk
Proficient in MS office applications at intermediate level
SAP Ariba knowledge is an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Support strategic buyers in the buying process with process or systems related
questions
Training & tracking of performance of new resources
Ensure proper documentation
Contract management to include all aspects (e.g. administer, review, manage, file,
evaluate, analyse, and negotiate).
Evaluate vendors to ensure its performance is aligned with established specifications
Maintain a support database and process documentation as well as an FAQ list for
users
Review and maintain good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders,
contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and
ensure the availability of documentation
Review and monitor capital purchases to ensure its compliance with company policies
and procedures
Identify opportunities for cost savings
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Track & monitor supplier payment
Handling Vendor Queries/Disputes

Strong Communication skills:
- Experiences in working in collaboratively in a virtual team with English.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good Analytical Skills.
Flexible.
Pro-active.
Understanding of Project management approach.
Basic knowledge on using procurement tools like Ariba, SAP
Excel especially pivot table and PowerPoint expertise.
