Qualification: Graduate Engineer (Full Time); Post graduation in Engineering or Business Administration would be an added advantage

Company Plastics Division is part. The Company was set up in 1989 in Bangalore to cater to the needs of the automotive industry.
The Engineering Plastics Division manufactures high precision tools and custom moulded engineering plastics at its state-of-the-art facility based at Bangalore & Chennai (they have a tool manufacturing unit based in Bangalore. The Company is Head Quartered at Bangalore.
The Total turnover of the company is Rs.350 Crores. company manufactures customized Engineering Plastics for its customers, i.e. Ford Motors, Toyota, TVS Motors & KIA Motors (Tire1 supplier). 2 Consecutive years they have been awarded the best supplier award by Toyota. The company is further investing Rs.100 Crores at Mysore as expansion. It is a totally debt free company and highly profitable. They intend to achieve Rs.500 crores turnover soon.
The Candidate
Background:
Ideal candidate should have about 20 to 25 years experience in the business development function with preferably auto component, TIER 1 & 2 industries, Familiarity with Plastic Injection Mould Processing
Ability to understand business financials, economic environment and impact of the global industry specific situations to the companys business is critical. Ability to understand the customers business nuances and Key decision makers would be an advantage
Proven ability in building business, profitability, customer relationships and company image is a must. Industry for Automotive applications preferred.
Responsibilities
To Plan, deliver and lead value-added business development support ensuring key objectives of the business Plans are achieved.
Identify potential customers and to develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the target customers strategic context, techno-commercial and market challenges in local and global context.
To create and lead the customer strategy from a detailed understanding of both current and potential customers, ensuring a focus on long term direction and commercial value, and proactively driving forward to achieve these business targets.
To monitor and measure marketing activities to ensure return on investment, building reports that provide an insight into marketing ROI.
