Job Description
Required skills
- Ability to setup Postgres-xl/Mysql Cluster database cluster from scratch.
- Ability to perform migration, backup and archive of data as required.
- Ability to predict load trouble shoot problems and
- Ability to tune PostgreSQL/Mysql parameters for performance improvement.
- Ability to construct complex queryies database to provide inputs to front end platforms
- Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes/model
- Familiarity with MYSQL,PostgreSQL,SQLite databases and their declarative query languages
- Experience in Linux platforms.
Job Description :
- Installation, Creation, Configuration and Maintenance of PostgreSQL DBs as well as other SQL based DBs.
- L2/L3 level of Troubleshooting & Administration skills in PostgreSQL DBA as well as other SQL based DBs
- Security Management.
- Backup and Restore/Recovery.
- DB replication setup b/w Master & Slave for high availability based on business requirement.
