Job Description
- Development of cloud based data architecture for applications for Fire detection systems, as part of a Research Development team in a World-leading multinational organization.
Primary Skill Description:
- 6-10 years of development experience on Cloud architecture and migrations (Azure ).
- Strong understanding of Azure environment PaaS, IaaS and experience in working with Hybrid model
- Experience on C#, .NET (desired )
- Collaborate with application architects and DevOps to modernize infrastructure as a service (IaaS) applications to Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Create solutions that support a DevOps approach for delivery and operations of services. Ensure that all cloud solutions follow security and compliance controls, including data sovereignty.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality. Interact with and advise business representatives of the application regarding functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration.Develop enterprise level conceptual solutions and sponsor consensus/approval for global applications.
- Have a working knowledge of other architecture disciplines including application, database, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
Identify and implement best practices, tools and standards. - Drive and support system reliability, availability, scale, and performance activities.Strong in Communication.
- Good at Requirement gathering.Experience in Cloud Migration Application Development Involved in new tools - RD type of activities with new tools feasibility for project requirement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Migrate existing framework from current CLOUD platform to Azure, define requirements and approach, concepts, feasibilities
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able closely work with cross functional team as part of the product development ownership.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.Highly motivated
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques. - Quick to learn.Tenacious in problem solving
