Fire and Safety Manager (Contract)
Qualification - Graduate / PG in Fire Engineering (recognised Fire College)
Experience - 1 to 5yrs.
Decisions made by the jobholder - Contract for Fire and safety / Training for employee's (corporate)
Interaction - Interaction with various department / Meeting with Statutory officials
Location - Mumbai H.O,
Functional and behavioural skills required - Communication, Analytical skills, Networking
Health, Safety and Environment Officer:
The Health, Safety and Environment Officer is responsible for advising the Functional Heads and Department Managers on the day to day implementation of the HSEQ Policy. This responsibility includes the following:
Act as Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator and has specific responsibility to control the Health, Safety and Environment Programme.
Ensure that Management is kept fully informed of the latest requirements, both statutory and in terms of good working practice, for occupational safety, health and environment.
Ensure that all incidents are investigated and remedial measures are implemented.
Act as a coordinator to develop and administer the overall emergency plan.
Ensure that guidance in the form of Health, Safety and Environment instructions, operating and emergency procedures are maintained up to date and complete.
Attend Management Safety Committee to ensure sufficient and suitable interchange of information on safety, health, environment and fire protection matters.
Implement the Company HSEQ Policy on safety, fire and emergency training.
Ensure that technical input is provided for modification/reviews and additional or improved safety or fire detection/protection systems.
Act as the focal point for conducting the HSE Inspections.
Act as the secretary to Quarterly Management Safety Committee.
Ensure submission of details of incidents and near-miss to Head - Administration.
Prepare MIS on HSE Performance on monthly basis.
Ensure that Fire Extinguishers, Hydrant Systems, Inergen System and F&G System are inspected, tested, refilled and maintained on regular basis. He shall check the maintenance records of above system on regular basis.
To conduct safety training as an when required.
