Job Description
ResponsibilitiesLead day to day execution of activities of one or more scrum teams
Collaborate and coordinate with other SCRUM masters in a multiple agile team environment
Ensure full end to end delivery of features from inception through to solution testing and release
Collaborate with Product Management to turn the roadmap vision into reality
. Facilitate technical discussions with Architects to resolve technical challenges the team encounters
Facilitate daily standups with team, including stakeholders
Facilitate sprint planning sessions and provide sprint commitment updates to Business, including comprehensive use of KPIs
Facilitate retrospective meetings and track actions to closure
Work with Product Owner to prioritize product backlog
Assist development team and BAs/TPOs to refine product functionality and product backlog user stories
Adopt a tenacious approach to delivery, ensuring agreed scope is delivered
Radiate team communications and impediments to release and programme-level teams
Communicate progress, raise risks or issues to Product Owners, Management and Stakeholders as necessary
Shield team from external influences not relevant to current sprint work
Facilitate continuous improvement both in the delivery effort and implementation of agile practices in the organisation
Coach and mentor the other Scrum Masters in order to promote a strong Centre of Excellence with consistency in practice and results
Required Experience
Experience working with globally distributed teams
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Experience in stakeholder management, negotiation and communication
Ability to function as Scrum Master for multiple projects
Ability to identify risks or issues during the sprint and help the team in resolution of issues which impede progress.
Good exposure on sizing techniques used in agile process (Story Points)
Ability to improve team maturity levels in understanding process and improving productivity in terms of velocity
Ability to train or educate team on agile process
Strong coaching skills and experience in mentoring other Scrum Masters
