Job Description

We have great opportunity for HOD - Moulding for very reputed Iron foundry company located in Belgaum Karnataka.

Job Title: HOD - Moulding 

Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical

Experience: 10 to 14 yrs.

Primary Responsibility: 

1. Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly plan achieved

2. Ensuring reduction in rework of mould & casting through continence improvement by strictly following to the defined process sequence .

3. Ensuring variable cost as per budget

4. Ensuring department NRT hrs is below monthly budget

5. Ensuring process and casting rejection is below the budget

6. Developing skill matrix across department & systematic training as per requirement

7. Ensuring the facilities to be given &development activities

8. Ensuring maintenance of tooling

9. Ensuring the process in line with the instructions

10. Ensuring productivity as per budget

11. Ensuring kaizen projects

12. Ensuring autonomous maintenance by empowering workmen/staff

13. Production of moulds as per business target plan (AOP).

14. Production planning for mould making and core setting as per monthly plan(AOP)

15. Ensuring of moulding box & preparation of moulding sand.

16. Ensuring quality and reduction of rework

17. Attending customer complaints with why why analysis

18. Ensuring total implementation of cost saving projects

19. Ensuring Critical parameters

20. Ensuring safety and PPE 's for each operator

21. Ensuring 5's activity to keep place conducive to work

22. Ensuring ISO/TS implementation & practicing

23. Ensuring discipline in department

24. Ensuring CDLs is monitored weekly and monthly basis
