Job Description
Vice President (Media Relations) PR Solution is a strategic communications and public affairs firm. With decades of experience navigating the intersection of business , politics , media and advocacy , our professional team works in concert with our clients to develop influential communications programs impacting reputation , public policy and the global marketplace. We help our clients shape the future.
We are seeking a Vice President to join our team in Mumbai. Responsibilities include account management and managing media outreach and providing strategic counsel. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail , superb writing skills , an entrepreneurial spirit and a team - first attitude. Public Affairs / Public Relations agency experience and Political / Issue Advocacy campaign experience is a plus.
Qualifications: Five - seven years of experience
Experience in account / client management
Proven ability to develop and edit high quality written materials , including speeches / talking points , briefing papers , bylines , analytical pieces and press and educational materials for various media formats print , online and broadcast
Excellent writing and editing skills that reflect 1) an ability to clarify and simplify complicated issues and diverse subject matter , and 2) versatility in tone and technique depending on the author and / or audience. (Knowledge of AP style is a must.)
Interpersonal skills , including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to recommend , initiate work and projects with minimal direction
Ability to illustrate a results - focused approach and committed to going the extra mile for clients
Experience interfacing directly with clients using appropriate verbal and written communications skills
Attention to detail , with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Minimum of a bachelors degree in communications , journalism , or a related field
Experience in planning and managing communications programs
Experience working with media to secure story placement for clients
