Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To build solutions for emerging technology in the IoT
- Be a part of IoT Research and Development at PTC.
- To build applications for Industrial IoT using advanced technical concepts, primarily using ThingWorx, Java & JavaScript Frameworks
- Perform related duties as assigned
Required skills:
- Experience 2 to 5 years
- Experience in Mash-Up and Services Development is required.
- Experience in Java Web Services and SQL is desirable
- Experience in ThingWorx development ( UI and Backend )
- Must have hands-on experience on below softwares:
- -ThingWorx Platform services
- -ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity
- -ThingWorx Extensions
- Must have a strong knowledge on configuring and building ThingWorx Platform Services, Security, Logic and Storage
- Strong experience in Model building, Entities like Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, and Ability to create efficient network/hierarchy models
- Working on real time streaming systems, efficient use of Tables, Streams and Value Streams with projects to highlight the same
- Experience in integrating ThingWorx services with database and Big Data storages
- Experience in building analytical and time-series models for prediction of dependent variables from independent variables in ThingWorx Analytics
- Sound knowledge in handling end to end cloud-based product development lifecycle
Candidate Profile:
- Must be IT/Computer Graduate/Engineer
- Familiar and comfortable with rapidly evolving Agile development environments.
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to work well within a team & with global customers
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
