Job Description
- Must be staying nearby Asangaon, Thane or in the central line. If not staying in central line or nearby asangaon must be willing to stay at the company provided accommodation in Vasind, Thane. If not willing to stay at company provided accommodation or not staying nearby Asangaon, please do not apply.
- Must have experience in designing software like SolidWorks and have basic knowledge of AutoCad for 2D drafting.
- Must create a FREE EDUCATION account on the following website -
- Must go through the FREE tutorials and webinars available at onshape website.
- Must complete this course at onshape it is FREE and without this certification, don't come for an interview - and
- Must thoroughly practice on onshape since Swastik uses only onshape for 3D design & 2D drafting. No other software will be used.
- Do not apply if you have not had enough practice onshape or are not confident about operating this software.
- Account creation and showing some sample designs created by you on onshape during the interview is mandatory. Without onshape account, interview will not be taken and you will not be eligible for the interview. Go through all the links on onshape website, especially webinars section also you can find on the youtube channel of onshape. Must watch at least last 15 webinars.
- You must be willing to operate independently and must have good knowledge of using measurement tools since you will be required to do reverse engineering, meaning machines or parts will be provided and you must create a design from them.
- You must be able to create BOM in onshape (Flat And/Or Multilevel).
- Experience in the relevant industry such as manufacturing of industrial machinery for filling & packaging, tanks fabrication will be given more weightage. If you have experience in a totally unrelated industry such as construction, media, electronics, please do not apply.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English to ensure that there are no spelling mistakes in drawings and naming of parts.
Interview Details
- Location Of Interview & Job Location - Swastik Technopack Pvt. Ltd., Plot No.1, Kapaleshwar Udhyog Sankul, Behind Parivar Hotel, Shahpur, Asangaon West, Thane- 421601, Maharashtra, India. Map Location -
- During the interview you will be given a part you have to create 3D model for each part in that assembly, along with detailed 2D drawings with title block that will be shared with you, BOM, section views & detail views where required, assembly model, assembly 2D drawing, etc.
- Once the part & measuring tool is provided to you, you must login to the laptop provided to you by using your onshape account and create a new document with your name, location of stay, experience and current date as the document name - eg. Rahul Shah Dombivli 3 Years 10.02.2017. Once the document is created you must share this document with edit rights to the following email address -
- Note that in onshape all your parts, assembly, 2d drawings, etc. will be in that same document no need to create separate documents for each part or assembly.
- You will be allotted 120 mins of time to complete the entire design in totality which includes all above mentioned.
- Date & Time For Interview - Dates Are Open Between 10 AM & 3 PM. (You need to be sure that you fulfill all prerequisites before applying for the interview) Just call once on 9112211*** before coming for the interview to confirm the availability of the person taking the interview.
