Job Description
- Minimum 3 year of experience in related field.
- Prior experience in maintenance field is preferable.
- A candidate should have basic knowledge of English.
- A candidate is willing to grow on own.

Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future
maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with
specifications and local electrical codes.
Plan wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as motors, generators, as well as
control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or
blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls,
ceilings, and flooring.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Pull wiring through
conduit. Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires
together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power
equipment. Connect power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor. Install
grounding leads.
Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with
testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.
Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to college specifications or local electrical codes.
Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for
adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repair faulty equipment or systems.
Study production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job
assignment.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality
of product.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency. Analyze
and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
