Job Description
Job descriptionSummary:
The Delivery Manager reports to the Purchasing Center of Excellence Lead. The DM is responsible post-PO issuance management of purchase order management. He or she will lead regular meetings with key suppliers to track status of open orders through the production process, liaise with Powin Logistics to arrange timely pickup of goods, and liaise with Powin Finance to ensure invoices are being processed on time. The DM will alert operations and customer-facing project managers about potential delays that could impact schedules and provide costs/options for alternative shipping methods.
Roles and Responsibilities
Drive and deploy account/ project delivery structure by evaluating the budget, costs, risks
Ensure 100% compliance to project Service Level Agreements (SLA) & customers contractual obligations
Monitor and take appropriate actions on internal and external audit findings to ensure no major non-compliance/ deviation from the SLA
Identify and resolve potential risks or early warning signs on project delivery to drive for no escalations and eliminate any revenue leakage
Receive goods in NetSuites Inbound-Transit field once picked up by Powin Logistics transportation service providers
Resolve project escalations that happen in an expedited fashion ensuring root cause identification and permanent closure
Provide inputs to leadership team on overall delivery performance parameters (project heath, utilization, realization etc.) at an account level during reviews highlighting any critical project escalations and potential risks
Brainstorm with the team to identify improvement opportunities and initiatives to further improve quality, delivery speed and productivity parameters
Qualifications:
3-years of experience & exposure to US market is preferred
4-year degree in Engineering or Business-related field is preferred
Exceptional Project Delivery & Project Management skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills. Excellent at cross-functional collaboration
Proven data guided approach to decision making
Highly driven, self-motivated & result oriented. Ability to work with minimal supervision
Flexible, Open to new ideas & willing to adapt
