Digital Media Creative Director  Applicants with 6+ years (agency experience only)

 

Location: Andheri (E) 

 

Responsibilities: 

Drive Business Growth: 

  • Participate in strategic planning process and drive key initiatives that can provide a strategic advantage to Oktobuzz and contribute to brand building 
  • Define creative strategy for Oktobuzz in collaboration with leadership team, brainstorm collectively to come up with ideas for branding and promotional campaigns and drive effective implementation of the same. 
  • Participate in BD meetings with key clients to represent Oktobuzz's creative capabilities. 
  • Finalize the effort estimation done for a client requirement by giving relevant inputs 

Building Organizational Culture: 

  • Act as an ambassador for driving the vision, values and strategy of the business internally and externally. 
  • Paint an inspiring picture of the future of the business which is visible at all levels 
  • Support implementation of HR engagement initiatives to align employees to Oktobuzz vision and values 

Delivery Excellence: 

  • Design the desired communication strategy for driving client growth 
  • Work on identifying proactive growth plans for existing clients and provide timely inputs to the creative team in formulating creative strategies for the client 
  • Write (big idea) and supervise the writing of content for existing and new clients in the domain of social media, ads, video content, website, emailers, apps and print or brand identity related projects. 
  • Provide guidance to the team in developing an impactful content 
  • Review the digital communication journey of the client and recommend modification and changes wherever required 
    • Oversee the creation of creative assets such as advertisements, products, events, or logos. Review and approve all of the organizations or clients creative output /visuals and ensure consistency with Oktobuzz brand image. 
    • Conduct periodic team reviews to review progress on client deliverables and ensure quality output that best serves client needs 
    • Collaborate with Account Management team to optimize campaigns so as to deliver higher value to the clients 
    • Monitor the KPIs/PPIs defined for the "Creativity" team 
    • Identify the outliers or major deviations from the target, both negative and positive deviations and guide the team to perform root-causes of these deviations 
    • Ensure necessary corrective and preventive action is taken to minimize negative outliers / target misses. 

    Building organizational capabilities (people, process, technology): 

    • Drive people capability improvement initiatives to continuously enhance people capability through learning (incl. mentoring) and development initiatives 
    • Contribute in building knowledge assets and promote knowledge-sharing initiatives 
    • Oversee implementation of technological interventions with frequent reviews 
    • Review current processes, identify scope for improvement and make changes in current process or develop new process for improving overall efficiency of the department 

    Risk and Governance: 

    • Periodically review effective implementation of controls across the 'creative' team 
    • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and look-see that the team is accountable for the same. 

    People Management: 

    • Be actively involved in hiring as well as in maintaining the morale, performance and engagement levels within the team 
    • Set performance expectations, review team performance and provide constructive feedback 
    • Identify learning needs of the team and provide a learning environment through trainings, assignments, knowledge-sharing sessions, etc. Mentor the team to be successful in their current role and meet their career aspirations 
    • Differentiate performance and reward high performers, thereby building high performance work culture 
    • Support implementation of employee effectiveness initiative such as wellness programs, quality of life, and organizational effectiveness interventions across the teams
