- Job Description: The Role We are searching for a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications that seamlessly integrate with our innovative IoT devices. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate developer with a strong foundation in Kotlin to contribute to the future of connected products. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement native Android applications for smartphones and tablets using Kotlin. Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate product requirements into user friendly and intuitive mobile experiences. Integrate with our IoT devices using appropriate communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi,NFC,MQTT). Develop features for data visualisation, device control, and user interaction with IoT functionalities. Implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure device communication integrity. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to best practices. Conduct thorough Unit testing to ensure application functionality and performance. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Android development tools and technologies (e.g., Jetpack libraries, Material Design). Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 4+ years of experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Experience with Android Studio, XML, and other relevant Android development tools. Experience with networking protocols commonly used in IoT applications (e.g., BLE, Wi Fi, MQTT, NFC). Familiarity with data visualisation libraries and user interface frameworks (e.g., Jetpack Compose) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Passion for creating user-centric mobile experiences. Exposure to and interest in IoT product development is a strong plus.
