Desk Qaqc- Quality Engineer-supply (e&i) @ Tata Projects

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Vendor document review and commenting (ITP/QAP, NDT and testing procedures, welding procedures etc.)
• Coordinating with vendor and TPIA for completion of inspection, resolution of issues and as required through coordination with internal Engineering team, vendor, PMC/Client.
• Visit to site for resolution of technical issues.
• Knowledge of raw material inspection, stage-wise and final inspection of Panels, Transformers, Insulators, Circuit breaker, Cables + major Instrumentation related items
• Good knowledge of IS/IEC codes related to Panels, Transformers, Insulators, Circuit breaker, Cables & its testing criteria.
• Man hours Estimation and budgeting, Conducting Pre-inspection meetings for Critical Packages and Items
• Shop Audit of suppliers works to assess manufacturing capability
• Prepare and maintaint the MIS and Inspection Quality documents

QA:

• At least have Internal / Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 9001 to carry out QA activities.
• Experience in carrying out auditing as per QMS, providing findings through audit reports, follow-up and closure of findings
• Experience in NCR Management

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 10 - 12 years with Degree/12-15Yrs with Diploma (Electrical)

Education: B.Tech/Diploma

Note: Preferably EPC background from O&G/Clean room/Semicon
