Job Description

Sportz Interactive is looking to hire smart and passionate Database developers who would be responsible for
developing applications and products catering to the legions of global sports fans.

Responsibilities:
Understand requirements from front end applications developers
Write advanced queries, stored procedures, cursors, functions & triggers
Conduct code reviews
Work with high-traffic application servers

Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in MS SQL development
Experience and in-depth knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL SQL
Ability to come up with multiple possible ways of solving a problem and deciding on the most optimal approach
for implementation that suits the work case the most
Secondary platforms: MS SQL 2005/2008
Knowledge about Database Administration, MySQL
Knowledge or willingness to work on Postgresql
Ability to take ownership of tasks and flexibility to work individually or in team
Ability to communicate with teams and clients across time zones and global regions
Good communication and self-motivated
Should have the ability to work under pressure
Should be passionate about sports
