Job OverviewWe are seeking a driven and passionate Study Abroad Counselor for a Junior-level position. This full-time role based in Mumbai, Rajkot, or Vadodara requires candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be positioned to guide students in making informed decisions regarding their study abroad plans, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of international education opportunities. Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge of study abroad programs with a demonstrated ability to guide students through various international education processes (Mandatory skill). Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and assist students in understanding study abroad opportunities (Mandatory skill). Advising and counseling skills to provide personalized advice and support throughout the decision-making process (Mandatory skill). Cultural awareness to assist students in adapting to new environments and understanding diverse cultural perspectives. Organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently, ensuring timely completion of all necessary documentation and processes. Interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and educational institutions. Problem-solving skills to address issues students may face when considering study abroad options, providing practical solutions. Attention to detail ensuring all information provided is accurate and comprehensive, avoiding errors in documentation or advice. Roles and ResponsibilitiesConduct counseling sessions for students interested in studying abroad, providing detailed information about options available. Guide students through the application process, including documentation and visa requirements. Coordinate with international educational institutions to facilitate student enrollment and adaptation. Provide support and advice on accommodations, cultural adaptation, and other logistics associated with studying abroad. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education trends and study abroad programs. Organize workshops and seminars to inform students and parents about study abroad opportunities and application processes. Track student progress and outcomes, providing feedback and support throughout their academic journey.
