Job Description
ImmediateSpecialist __Data Modelling and Engineering_ PUNE and TVM
4 days WFO in a month
One of the largest MNCs, 30,000, employees working globally
The ideal candidate should be a skilled L2/L3 Support Engineer with at least 3 years of
relevant experience, with a strong focus on ETL and Data Warehousing in Azure. The
candidate should also have good understanding of DevOps practices and ITIL concepts.
Experience: 6-8yrs
Skill: Azure Synapse analytics|DevOps Technologies|SQL
Location : Pune/ Trivandrum
Notice period : immediate joiners preferred

You will
- Monitor the daily data pipeline runs, and ensure timely data loads by proactively
identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Perform RCA to identify the underlying causes of issues in the data warehouse and
ETL pipelines.
- Document findings and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with various teams, including data engineers, DevOps Engineers,
architects, and business analysts, to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on issue resolution
and system performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data warehouse configurations, ETL processes,
Your skills
- Experience in building and maintaining pipelines in Azure Synapse or ADF (Azure
Data Factory)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support engineer role, preferably in data
warehousing and ETL environments.
- Programming skills - T-SQL, Stored Procedures
- Knowledge around Data Models (3NF, Star & Snowflake, Data Vault, etc.) is good to
have.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Docker,
Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of financial accounting processes and familiarity with SAP
systems will be a huge plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Its a huge plus if you are a Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate.
