- Position Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the companys daily operational functions, driving efficiency, and ensuring business growth. The role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, production, and business expansion. The COO will work closely with the CEO and senior management to align operational goals with the company's long-term vision. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Operations Management Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability. Align operations with business objectives to drive sustainable growth. Manufacturing & Production Excellence Oversee plant operations, ensuring high efficiency, quality, and productivity. Implement Industry 4.0 practices, automation, and AI-driven processes for operational optimization. Supply Chain & Logistics Ensure effective procurement, inventory control, and cost optimization. Optimize logistics operations for domestic and international markets. Financial & Cost Control Improve cost efficiency through process innovations and waste reduction. Work with the CFO to monitor budgets, cost structures, and operational expenditures. Business Expansion & Market Development Identify new business opportunities and diversification strategies. Support global expansion initiatives and new market penetration. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations. Implement robust risk management and compliance frameworks. Leadership & Team Development Build a high-performance team through mentoring and talent development. Foster a results-driven, accountable organizational culture. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Production Efficiency: Improvement in production output and operational uptime. Cost Optimization: Reduction in manufacturing and supply chain costs. Revenue Growth: Contribution to overall company revenue increase. Supply Chain Performance: Reduction in procurement lead times and logistics costs. Process Innovation: Implementation of automation, AI, and digital transformation. Regulatory Compliance: 100% compliance with statutory requirements. Employee Productivity: Reduction in operational downtime and improvement in workforce efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Education: MBA/Engineering degree in Operations, Manufacturing, or Business Management. Experience: Minimum 15+ years in a leadership role within the steel, metals, or any large scale manufacturing industry. Skills: Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills, with expertise in supply chain and process automation.
