Job Description
- Key Responsibilities ===================== Performs functional and technical analysis of Pricing solutions and follows through the full development lifecycle. Translates business needs into functional and non-functional requirements/user stories. Prepares detailed functional descriptions and configures pricing solution PricefX accordingly. Prepares test scenarios and conducts system integration/regression testing for system enhancements and upgrades. Coordinates and facilitates work with other IT groups. Leads system implementations in collaboration with external technology providers for the assigned area. Initiates and participates in identifying opportunities for introducing business process improvements. Educates others in the business processes and associated reporting tools within the implemented Pricing Software tool suite. Prepares and delivers system and process training as required. Coordinates, implements and communicates system changes. Develop and maintain system documentation. Assists with user support, training and service desk functions related to Pricing requests. Required Skills ================ Excellent organizational and task management skills. Proficiency working with Jira and maintaining documentation in Confluence. Strong working knowledge of business processes in the Pricing domain. Ability to communicate requirements in both technical and user friendly language. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to translate into business requirements/user stories. Ability to direct efforts to others in remote locations in different time zones. Capable of applying a comprehensive requirement elicitation process and track those requirements all the way through the development and testing processes. Ability to learn new software languages in a short period of time. Ability to configure pricing software according to Solution Architecture and requirements/user stories. Ability to establish good business relations at different levels in a virtual organization. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, issue and problem management skills. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond immediate problem. Flexible with ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multiple tasks. Required Experience ==================== What will make you successful: Business understanding of the Pricing domain, prior experience on any other pricing tools like Vendavo/PROS is a plus Minimum 3 years of working experience with configuration and implementation of Pricing solutions/applications Experience with configuring PricefX application modules like Price Analyzer, Price Builder, Price Optimizer, Promotion Manager and/or Quote Configurator Deep experience in Design, Development and Implementation of web-based applications based on Java technologies Experience in working with Groovy Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) Experience in working with Git as version control system along with Bitbucket and Github as code repositories Experience in working with XML and JSON Experience in UX technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ajax Experience in working with REST implementations Experience in SQL with relational databases(e.g. MySQL, SQL Server ) Deep experience with writing business requirements and/or user stories Experience with Agile Scrum and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) methodology Experience in working with Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions Experience with unit, integration, regression and data testing Experience in working with Cloud services is a plus Experience with working in a global, highly virtual environment with minimal supervision Ideal candidate will come with a strong analytical and technical skills Experience in the manufacturing industries is a plus,
