Responsibilities We are looking for a proficient lawyer to support the Legal Function of the Firm. This position will report directly to Associate General Counsel. Your Work Will Typically Involve The ideal candidate should bring a high degree of contracts expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and agreements, including but not limited to Finance Agreements, HR Agreements, Commercial Leases, Event Agreements, Bank Guarantees, IT Software Agreements, Procurement Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Administrative Agreements. Contracts: structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts/agreements withs different companies and stakeholders. Please note: this is a critical skill set. Please only consider this role if you enjoy drafting legal documents and are recognized as being exceptionally skilled at it. Templates: sourcing and creating templates for various agreements and contracts. Manuals & systems: helping create manuals and processes to get the legal function to work better. Knowledge management: keeping up to speed with current changes on all relevant laws. Conduct legal research as needed to address legal questions or concerns. Miscellaneous: Collaborate with various departments such as Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Admin to provide legal support and guidance during the contract negotiation process. Qualifications Law degree from top tier law school with robust academic credentials. 1+ years of experience in a similar role, focusing on contracts and agreements in a corporate or law firm environment. Understanding of financial and commercial terms in contracts. Must be technically sound with strong knowledge of contract laws and good knowledge of finance. Top-notch English language drafting skills. You must be adept at international business English. Accuracy and attention to detail is an absolute must. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
