Job Description
- Role & Responsibilities Infrastructure Management : Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Automation : Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning. Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. Scripting & Automation : Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency. Security : Ensure the security of the infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices and compliance requirements. Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. Incident Management : Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure, processes, and candidate profile Experience : 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on GCP. Terraform Expertise : Strong experience with Terraform, including writing, testing, and managing Terraform configurations. Scripting Skills : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. CI/CD Tools : Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Monitoring Tools : Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Monitoring. Version Control : Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Team Player : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Certifications : GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus. (ref:hirist.tech),
