Job Description
- Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Research and Development (R&D) Senior Executive to lead our innovation efforts, drive new product development, and improve existing formulations. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in material science, a deep understanding of industrial applications, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects from concept to commercialization. The role will report directly to the Director of Technology (CTO). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Research & Innovation Lead R&D initiatives focused on developing new adhesives, composites, and tooling materials. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Identify opportunities for process and product improvements to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness. Project & Team Management Plan, execute, and oversee R&D projects from ideation to commercialization. Collaborate with production, sales, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of new products. Mentor and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Plan, execute, and oversee R&D projects from ideation to commercialization. Testing &Compliance Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure product quality, performance, and regulatory compliance. Work closely with third-party testing agencies and certification bodies to obtain necessary approvals. Maintain technical documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS) and product specifications. Collaboration & Industry Engagement Liaise with suppliers, customers, and industry partners to understand market needs and tailor R&D efforts accordingly. Represent the company at technical conferences, trade shows, and industry forums. Assist in patent filings and intellectual property protection for novel developments. KEYS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors or Masters or in Polymer Science, Composites, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in R&D within adhesives, composites, or tooling materials industries. Strong understanding of polymer chemistry, resin systems, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Proven track record of developing and launching innovative material solutions. Hands-on experience with analytical techniques, testing methods, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
