Experience: 5- 15 yrs (into wooden Furniture Manufacturing)
Location: Bhiwandi
Industry: Interior/ Furniture Manufacturing
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager (Furniture) at The Monarch Enterprises in Bhiwandi. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and optimizing processes to meet client requirements.

Job Description:
Prepare production plan in coordination with Sales and design team
Coordinate with Purchase team on raw material. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production plan
Prepare process flow, work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design and Management on the progress of the project
Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawing and specification for any queries and clarifications essential for production
Ensure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achieved
Ensure that the installations manufactured are of consistent quality
Highlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and Management
Analyze root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the re occurrence
Measure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve production
Device maintenance plan for the shop floor
Analyze requirement of new machinery to increase productivity/ new product line and accordingly present the case to Management for approval and purchase
Team Management
Train the production team adequately on quality system, understanding of the design drawings, work instructions and quality check points
To maintain shop floor discipline and housekeeping
Motivate shop floor team and instill team work
Train the team on quality and ensure that production down time is reduced and process capability is improved. Develop the production team to be multi skilled
Periodically generating performance report of team & provide necessary feedback / mentoring/ assistance to upscale over all team performance
