- Web Developer - Job Description Role Overview: The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites across various Content Management Systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms, including Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with experience in delivering high-performance, responsive websites that align with business goals and user needs. Key Responsibilities: CMS Development: Develop, customize, and manage websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. Create and modify themes, templates, and plugins to deliver customized solutions for clients. Implement and configure content structures, including custom post types, taxonomies, and metadata. Shopify & E-Commerce Development: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores, including theme customization and app integration. Optimize Shopify websites for performance, SEO, and user experience. Front-End Development: Create responsive, visually appealing websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks like Bootstrap. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile optimization. Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into functional web pages. Back-End Development: Integrate websites with databases, APIs, and third-party services. Manage hosting, deployment, and server configurations to ensure reliable website performance. Implement security best practices to safeguard websites against vulnerabilities. Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary updates or fixes. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall user experience. Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery measures are in place. Collaboration & Client Communication: Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites meet project requirements. Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and deliver training on CMS usage. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines. ,
