Job Description
- Skills: Production Planning, Team Management, Process Improvement, fabrication & welding, Develop Jigs and Fixtures, Coordination with Design on Drawing clarification, Job Purpose Achieve day-to-day management at the Production area through 4M, to meet the Efficiency targets. Principal Accountabilities Ensuring availability of Materials at all zones of your Group. Coordinate with other GLs/PPCs/Managers on these aspects. Coordinate with HR/Production manager for Manpower availability at your Group. Ensure Zero Repetitive issues by taking necessary countermeasures (rework) including updating check sheets with Quality. Develop Jigs and Fixtures, and Poka-yokes for standardization and speedy work. Training of all Zone Leaders for job requirements. Implementing of KAIZEN. Coordination with Design on Drawing clarification Daily Pickup plan for dispatch and trailer Availability (Only for Outside PDI area) Responsible for the performance of Zone Leaders based on Safety, Quality, Productivity, 3S, and machine upkeep Knowledge And Skills Needed To Deliver On The Accountabilities Sound technical skills Heavy Fabrication Welding and painting Process. 5S and Basic shop floor safety Management. Production Efficiency Planning and communication skills. Poka-yoke through Template and Fixtures. problem-solving skills Standardized work Work instruction sheet, Workload balancing. Min Max Management. FIFO. Training Shop floor Management Formal Education Requirements, As Applicable Diploma/ B. Tech / BE - Mechanical Years of relevant Experience needed: Minimum of 8+ years relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
