- Job Description: Robotic Welding Incharge Company: Shri Pavithra Auto Product Private Limited Industry: Automotive Product Manufacturing Location: [thirumullvayil] Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Robotic Welding Incharge is responsible for overseeing and managing robotic welding operations in the manufacturing plant. This role includes programming, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality welds on automotive components. The incharge will coordinate with production teams to improve efficiency, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Welding Operations Management: Supervise and manage robotic welding operations for automotive product manufacturing. Ensure proper execution of welding processes to meet production targets. Programming & Troubleshooting: Program, set up, and adjust robotic welding machines based on production requirements. Troubleshoot robotic welding issues and minimize downtime. Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct quality checks to ensure welding accuracy, penetration, and strength. Work with the quality team to implement corrective actions for defects. Equipment Maintenance & Optimization: Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance of robotic welding systems. Optimize welding parameters to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation improvements to enhance productivity. Work with engineers to implement lean manufacturing techniques. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines in welding operations. Train operators on safety protocols and proper robotic welding techniques. Team Coordination & Training: Lead a team of welding operators and technicians. Provide training and skill development for new and existing team members. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. 3-5 years of experience in robotic welding in the automotive industry. Hands-on experience with robotic welding systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, etc.). Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and quality standards. Ability to troubleshoot robotic welding issues and perform minor repairs. Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing. Leadership skills and ability to manage a production team effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in robotic welding or automation.
