Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security).
- Implement and manage cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security).
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Manage and monitor security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, CSPM).
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate on DevSecOps to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
- Stay updated on cloud security threats and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior security engineers.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT engineering with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
- Expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and CSPM tools.
- Strong scripting & automation skills (Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls) in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security regulations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
- Experience in deploying SaaS applications and handling security incident response.
- Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
