Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Executive / Senior Executive Sea Import Customs Clearance (CHA-Imports) to join a leading logistics company with a PAN- India presence and a global network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Customs clearance (Clearance process, DPD clearance, FSSAI, AQ, ADC NOC ETC), documentation, customs compliance, and shipment execution while ensuring smooth and efficient import clearance processes. Job Responsibilities: Customs Clearance & Compliance: Ensure accurate HSN code identification, timely BOE filing, and adherence to customs tariffs, acts, and notifications while handling regulatory clearances such as DPD clearance, FSSAI, AQ, and ADC NOC to avoid penalties and ensure smooth processing for CHA-Imports. Shipment Handling & Coordination: Coordinate with shipping lines, forwarders, and transporters for seamless shipment execution, work with the Delivery Order (DO) team for timely DO releases, and regularly update the Daily Status Report (DSR) to ensure efficient tracking and management of CHA-Import shipments. Billing & Reporting: Oversee accurate and timely post-clearance billing with the support of the billing team, prepare Monthly Review Meeting (MRM) reports, and create PowerPoint presentations to provide key updates and performance insights to customers and internal stakeholders within CHA-Imports operations. Transport & Logistics Coordination: Manage transporter rates and vehicle arrangements while maintaining strong relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and efficient deliveries aligned with CHA-Import requirements. Job Requirements: Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in customer service for CHA-Imports within the customs clearance (import) department. Technical Knowledge: Expertise in customs tariffs, acts, and notifications, with strong knowledge of import clearance processes including DPD clearance, FSSAI, AQ and ADC NOC, along with hands-on experience in HSN code classification and customs regulations for CHA-Imports. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with customers and stakeholders. This role requires an independent, detail-oriented professional who can efficiently handle back-office clearance activities while ensuring timely coordination with customers and internal teams for CHA-Imports.
