Job Description

As a Scrum Master at Siemens Energy, your role will involve leading and facilitating business and IT teams in delivering value using Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for managing project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality using tools like JIRA. Your collaboration with the Product Owner will ensure that project scope, timeline, and budget are aligned with business objectives. Resolving conflicts and impediments within project teams will be a key part of your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Guiding and coaching the Scrum Team on Agile/Scrum practices. - Facilitating sprint planning, execution, reviews, and delivery of project work. - Assisting in defining user stories and managing the product backlog. - Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, team members, and management on project status and achievements. - Leading end-to-end delivery of Digitalization projects and AI initiatives with cross-functional teams. - Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies, especially related to cloud-based deployments. - Continuously improving project processes through retrospectives. In order to excel in this role, you should bring: - At least 8 years of experience in a related field. - Demonstrable expertise in IT Project Management, Requirement Gathering & Analysis, Stakeholder Engagements, and more. - Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project management. - Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. - Certification such as Certified Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM 1) or equivalent.
