Job Description
- Responsibilities: Leads & coordinates Electrical Engineering for Projects. Has wide discipline knowledge; good coordination skill with all the other Engineering disciplines, engineering sub-contractors, vendors and construction teams. Review of client ITB and provide clarifications / deviations for such proposals, Prepare of estimates wrt Cost, Man-hours Technical strength in design of Electrical Single Line Metering & Protection Diagrams, Substation and Switchgear Arrangement Engineering, Lighting System, Grounding & Lightning Protection, Electrical Heat Tracing System, Cathodic Protection, Distribution panels, Bus Ducts, Switchgears, Transformers, Motors (LV, MV), Generators and Backup Systems (UPS, DC unit), MV & LV Capacitor Bank Technical Strength in Various Electrical Calculations such as Power Balance, Cable Sizing, Earthing Calculations, Lighting Calculations, Lightning Protection Calculations using various tools such as excel based & ETAP, DIALUX etc. Electrical System studies in ETAP for Short Circuit, Load Flow & Motor Starting Protection Relay coordination study Experience in preparation of Cable list & interconnection schedule Technical Strength in Layout engineering - Hazardous Area Layouts, Cable Routing (above & underground), Conduit & Tray Sizing, Earthing/Grounding Layouts, Lighting Layouts & Circuiting, Lightning Protection Layouts Experience in working & Co-ordinating with International Vendors Experience in VSI & LCI Soft Starter, LV VFD Experience in working on Large Machines 5 MW and above Induction, Synchronous Motors & Turbines Inquiry & Purchase requisition, Equipment data sheet, Technical bid evaluation for Electrical equipment Experience in Inspections of Various Electrical Items ex Motors, Switchgears, UPS, DC systems etc. Vendor Drawing Review of Transformer, MV & LV switchgears, Capacitor Bank, UPS & DC system, Soft Starter, LV VFD, MV & LV Motor, Heater, DG, Cable Familiar with International Standards like NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, IS Anticipation and Identification of risks and opportunities and recommend mitigations during execution Effective Communication skills with proactive coordination to manage interdiscipline workflow Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution Tool proficiency - ETAP, DIALux, Auto-CAD Education: MTech /ME , BTech / BE Discipline: Electrical Engineering Work Experience: Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for execution of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Air Separation, Energy, Refining, Petrochemicals, Power. Experience range : 12 years and above,
