- Job Title: Civil Engineer Company: Amjaad Holding Location: Oman Salary: 700 OMR/month Experience: 10 years Job Description Amjaad Holding, a reputable company in Oman, is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 10 years of professional experience to join our team. This full-time position offers a great opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects while being part of a growing and dynamic company. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage civil engineering projects from design through construction, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budgets, and timelines. Prepare and review detailed civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for various construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Conduct site surveys, assessments, and inspections to ensure accurate design implementation and that work adheres to engineering standards. Oversee and supervise construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, structural) to ensure project integration and seamless execution. Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and schedules for all phases of the construction process. Review and approve contractor proposals, materials, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications. Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers, draftsmen, and construction teams. Ensure that all designs and construction activities meet Omani regulatory standards and industry best practices. Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates. Identify and resolve any design or construction challenges, ensuring effective problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure all project requirements are met. Key Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with proven expertise in project management, design, and construction. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, local regulations, and construction practices in Oman or the GCC region. Proficiency in civil engineering software such as Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools. Excellent project management skills, including cost control, scheduling, and team coordination. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering challenges. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Fluent in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in Arabic is a plus. In-depth knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety on all projects.
