Responsibilities: Lead and manage the complete life cycle of engineering design projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations. Knowledge of Injection Molding. Development of plastic component with the use of mold design, manufacturing and project management. Analyze the project cost estimation & also able to reduce the project cost by utilizing technical and manufacturing experiences. Attend the new mold enquires (RFQ) and creating mold quotations. Provide technical oversight and review of detailed design work, including calculations, models, and drawings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards. Prepare quality methods DFM & DFMEA. Set up and perform DFM with the customer to meet best part design practices for better mold part. Reviewing of mold designs received from external tooling suppliers Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment and communication on project requirements and progress. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget by overseeing detailed project planning and control, from risk management to reporting. Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that all project outputs meet or exceed expectations. Mentor and guide junior engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement. Collaborate with business development teams to support new project proposals, including feasibility studies, scope definition, and cost estimation. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. OR GTTC, CPET, NTTF, CITD, PDTD . 5+ years of experience in engineering design and project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality projects on time and within budget. Extensive knowledge of engineering design principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, IEEE, ISO). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and engage with senior stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CIMATRON, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks). Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to mitigating risks and overcoming challenges. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills: Experience working in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., Automotive, manufacturing]. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the engineering sector. Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies in project management.
