Job Description
Job title :- Tool Design Engineer
Experience :- Minimum 2 to 4 yrs of experience in sheet metal industry as tool Maker / Tool Die designers .
Description :-
- Repair and maintain press tools and die repairs.
- Should experience in sheet metal tool maintenance and Tool Room activity.
- Routine servicing and regrinding of tools.
- Attend break down, identify fault and problem solve at the press with minimal down time to aid production.
- Responsible for the repair, Maintenance and improvement to all press tools, Jigs, Fixtures.
- Assist in tooling tryouts.
- Update Tool history card and other work records.
- Work within 5S.
- Train people within own work group.
- Knowledge of measuring instrument and measurement system.
- Understanding of engineering Drawing.
- Problem solving skill.
- Understanding tool manufacturing processes.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work as part of Team.
- Good understanding of internal customer urgency and impact the failure.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Should have qualification minmum ITI passed in fitter trade.
- Knowledge of All conventional machine operating (Grinding / Milling / lathe/Drilling)
