Role Overview:
We are looking for dynamic and experienced Coding Managers to lead, mentor, and manage coding teams across various specialties. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, and productivity, while supporting cross-functional collaboration across geographies.
Specialties Youll Be Managing:
- OB GYN
- ED (Emergency Department) & Hospitalist
- GI (Gastroenterology)
- Multispecialty
- IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis-Related Group)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of medical coders across multiple locations.
- Ensure coding accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to client SLAs.
- Drive performance metrics, identify training needs, and implement improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Training, Operations) to maintain high standards.
- Provide domain expertise and act as an escalation point for coding-related queries.
- Stay updated on latest coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- CPC, CCS, or relevant coding certifications required.
- Strong expertise in one or more of the mentioned specialties.
- Proven track record in team management, performance coaching, and operations oversight.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
