Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with deep expertise in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) systems, specifically FircoSoft (Lexus Nexus platform) and NetReveal. The role involves end-to-end business analysis, process mapping, stakeholder collaboration, and documentation aligned with regulatory compliance standards. The ideal candidate will support upgrade projects by performing detailed gap analyses, working closely with SMEs, and acting as a liaison between technical and business teams.
As part of a dedicated POD supporting a major client in upgrading their FCC (Financial Crime Compliance) systems, candidates will be expected to work closely with vendors and internal teams, providing business side support, analysis, and subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed business analysis related to FCC system upgrades.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analysis for current vs. future-state FCC systems
- Plan, execute, and monitor FCC system upgrade projects. Assist in continuous planning and monitoring
- Facilitate testing lifecycle from test case design to UAT execution and defect resolution.
- Support list management and filtering logic validation in FircoSoft. Assist in establishing post-go-live monitoring, issue logging, and resolution workflows. Support configuration management, including tuning of sanction filters and watchlists.
- Provide functional analysis, gap assessment, and traceability mapping across systems and controls. Assist with configuration migration, regression testing, and establishing operational readiness post-upgrade
- Build and manage project plans, resource schedules, and RAID logs.
- Coordinate between tech PODs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Partner with POD-based delivery teams during design, build, testing, and UAT phases. Support UAT planning and execution, defect triage, sign-off processes, training, and change management.
- Coordinate cross-functional workshops and maintain traceability matrices.
- Prepare documentation including functional specifications, process flows, BRDs, FRDs, impact assessments, and training materials.
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs, compliance, and technology teams to define business requirements.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations. Support planning for UAT, cutover strategy, and post-go-live support.
- Drive governance and reporting through status updates, dashboards, and steering decks.
- Provide ground level support on AML/KYC, Sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring processes.
- Assist in change management activities for process and system adoption.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in FCC/AML domains.
- Experience with FircoSoft (FFFClassic, FMM, FML, FUM including Lexis Nexus) and/or NetReveal, including configuration and implementation.
- FCC system upgrades, transformations and maintenance experience is required
- Strong understanding of transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Prior exposure to system upgrades and implementation projects. Experience on Jira, Confluence or Agile preferred
- AML Certifications including CAMS, CGSS, ICA, etc. is an advantage
- Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity
- Experience in Unix shell scripts, SQL queries preferred
- Prior exposure to system upgrades and implementation projects preferred.
