Job Description

Position : Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Production, Ammonia or Urea Plant Location : Tuticorin Roles and Responsibilities :- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Ammonia/Urea plant to ensure production targets are met. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize plant performance and improve efficiency. Monitor production processes and equipment to maintain quality standards and maximize output. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule and execute preventive maintenance and repairs. Lead a team of supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Manage inventory levels and procurement of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production. Prepare reports on plant performance, production metrics, and operational KPIs for senior management. In-depth knowledge of Diammonium Phosphate production processes and equipment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for chemical manufacturing.
