Job Description
- We are seeking a Quality Inspector for the Sports Category on a contractual basis in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sportswear, equipment, and related products meet quality standards before reaching the market. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of quality control processes, and familiarity with sports goods manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality inspections at different stages of production, from raw materials to finished sports products. Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. Identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from specifications and report findings. Collaborate with production and design teams to improve product quality. Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and quality control documentation. Assist in implementing corrective actions to address quality issues. Conduct random sampling and performance testing of sports goods. Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. Requirements: Education: Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the sportswear or sports equipment industry. Familiarity with manufacturing processes for sports apparel, footwear, and equipment. Knowledge of industry quality standards and testing methods. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation. Willingness to travel to manufacturing units and suppliers.
