Job Description

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Visteon. In this role, you will be pivotal in not only acquiring and managing partnerships with third-party app developers but also working closely with Visteons customers (OEMs). You will play a key role in driving business success by leveraging these relationships to enhance our Automotive App Stores offerings and securing new business opportunities.

What Youll Do

  • Contact (outbound), develop, and maintain strong relationships with app developers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, including terms, conditions, and revenue-sharing models
  • Conduct thorough testing of partner apps to ensure compatibility, performance, and quality standards
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of partner apps, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Work with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive app store usage and engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers (OEMs) and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of partner apps into the app store platform
  • Act as a liaison between Visteon and partner app developers and customers, addressing any issues, concerns, or inquiries that may arise

What Were Looking For

  • Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 14+ years of proven experience in partnerships or business development roles, preferably in technology and/or the automotive industry
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Pipedrive are a must
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel as required

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Android Automotive OS and Car API
