Sql Developer- DNL @ Puresoftware

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and databases to support data analysis and reporting needs for life insurance products. The candidate must have strong knowledge of SQL and experience in working with complex data structures in the Life Insurance industry.

• SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.


• Database Management: Manage and maintain relational databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.


• Data Integration: Collaborate with various internal teams to integrate data from different sources, including external systems and legacy databases.


• ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL processes for data migration, data transformation, and data loading from external sources into data warehouses.


• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to provide actionable insights, report generation, and ad-hoc queries.


• Optimization: Monitor database performance and optimize queries and procedures for faster and more efficient execution.


• Reporting: Assist business analysts and stakeholders in generating custom reports related to life insurance policies, claims, and other insurance-related data.


• Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and debug SQL queries and database issues.


• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, product teams, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SQL-based solutions.


• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database architecture, queries, and processes.
