Job Description
Diverse Lynx is looking for Control M (Admin) Professional to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey- As a Control-M Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Control-M workload automation platform
- This position involves configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of scheduled jobs
- The Control-M Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the organization's IT infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- System Configuration: Configure and maintain the Control-M environment, including job definitions, scheduling parameters, and resource allocation
- Job Monitoring: Monitor scheduled jobs, ensuring successful execution, and promptly addressing any issues or failures
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance and efficiency of Control-M workflows, making recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to job failures, dependencies, and runtime errors, collaborating with relevant teams
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard the Control-M environment, including user access, permissions, and authentication
- Job Scheduling: Work with business stakeholders to understand job scheduling requirements and implement schedules that align with business processes
- Upgrades and Patch Management: Coordinate and perform Control-M software upgrades, patches, and fixes, ensuring system stability and compatibility
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of Control-M configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts or processes to enhance the efficiency of Control-M job execution and monitoring
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, application owners, and business units to ensure seamless integration and support of Control-M in the overall IT infrastructure
