Provide advice to patients on proper eye care and the best ways to protect their vision.
Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Identify eye health issues that may require medical attention.
Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in optometry practices.
Collaborate with a team of optometrists and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of patient information.
Educate patients on the use and care of corrective lenses.
A degree in Optometry and a valid state license to practice.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometry practices and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Customer-oriented approach and empathy towards patients.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
