Job Description
- Minimum 8 to 12 yrs of experience in SAP Basis
- SAP HANA Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade SAP HANA databases
- Perform regular database maintenance, including data backups, restores, and recovery
- Monitor database performance and optimize as required
- System Administration: Manage SAP application servers, instances, and system landscapes.
- Perform system copies, system refreshes, and client copies
- System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues
- System Security: Implement and maintain security policies for SAP systems, including user management, roles, and authorizations
- Transport Management: Oversee the transport landscape, import and export transport requests between systems.
- Patch Management and Upgrades: Apply SAP software patches, support packages, and upgrades
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Set up and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and incidents
- Collaborate with other IT teams to provide timely resolutions
- System Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes
- SAP Solution Manager: Work with SAP Solution Manager to manage system landscapes, perform system diagnostics, and utilize monitoring capabilities
- Change Management: Follow change management processes to ensure smooth system changes and minimize risks
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with customers and business users to provide technical support and assistance with SAP-related tasks
- SAP Basis , SAP OS-DB Migration experience including SAP Basis Administrations (ABAP and JAVA Stack)
- Working knowledge in administration of SAP New dimensional products
- Technically proficient in the Operating Systems (Unix/Windows/Linux)
- Technically proficient in the Databases (HANA , MaxDB, Sybase)
- Significant system administration experience in SAP production system environment
- Experience in HANA administration / implementation / migration/Rev upgrades
- SAP certification desired (NetWeaver/HANA Administration)
- Must be able to work independently, able to lead and drive the team
- Well Versed with Oracle Database and Windows /Linux Operating systems.
- Possess in depth understanding of SAP Change and Transport Management
- Knowledge on processes and Ticketing tool like Service now
- Should lead small or large teams including mentoring the team
- Project plan preparation of SAP Upgrade activities and communication with different stake holders and vendors
- Good Knowledge and experience in Azure and AWS
- Azure and AWS certification is an advantage
- Good oral and written communication
